So smart and pointed and simple. Simple=Wise. In my background (and present ground and future explorations) as an improviser, I of course immersed myself in Viola Spolin-isms. Another philosophical point of hers in the tradition of “seeing and sharing” was “follow the follower!” To this I like to add “Lead the leader!” In either case, rather than following or leading each other down the “debt-and-greed-spun vortex” you mention above, this approach coaches us to be observers, pivoters, and co-pilots, rather than enablers of one another’s bad instincts, mindless trends and greed. it’s all about responsible awareness in multiple directions! Multi-directional, multi-dimensional wisdom and network-empathy, yeah? Thanks for the great post!
